Is my package insured? How do I file a claim?


Yes, insurance is included for free to Lifeboat subscribers. 

If your package is lost in shipping or arrives damaged, please contact us to go about filing a claim. 

Note that there are some restrictions. Your package is insured only to the declared customs value, or original purchase invoice amount, WHICHEVER IS LESS. 

To file a claim, we will require a notarized affidavit, evidence of damage or loss, and an invoice from the original sender validating the value of the item. If the invoice shows a value that is lower than what you declared, you will only be reimbursed for the lesser value. 

If we suspect fraud we reserve the right to deny insurance claims.
